Research by US scientists has found that playing videogames gives players better visual skills than the rest of the population. Researchers found that gamers were particularly good at spotting details in busy, confusing scenes and could cope with more distractions than the average person. According to a journal published in the journal Nature this week, "videogame playing enhances the capacity of visual attention and its spatial distribution." Games involved in the experiments included Medal of Honor and Tetris, although Crazy Taxi was citied as producing the most marked improvement in non-games players.
