Maryland based public interest group The Lion & Lamb Project has listed a number of video games within its annual list of the twelve toys adults should definitely not buy for their children, because they are too violent. Each of the twelve franchises mentioned has an attendant licensed video game and although one might expect brands such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and WWE to appear the inclusion of Rockstar’s Manhunt and movie licenses such as The Matrix Reloaded/Enter The Matrix and Terminator 3 are puzzling since their packaging makes it clear they are not at all aimed at a child audience.
