Star Wars games continue to hold a Darth Vader-like stranglehold over the UK sales charts this week, with both the top two games increasing their sales in the light of the success of the latest movie. In fact, Lego Star Wars sales have increased by as much as 68 percent. With only three new releases all week, the only new entry in the top forty is the British developed Cold Winter. A notable amount of TV advertising has allowed the original title to achieve a relatively high entry at number nineteen, which is fairly good for a non-sequel, non-licensed game. The only other movement of note in the chart is Area 51 which shoots up five places to number three, despite a muted critical response. Releases for the next week are only slightly busier than last, with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the Xbox and PC being the only title likely to have any chance of dislodging either of the two Star Wars games from the top of the charts.
