With the Star Wars bandwagon receding into the distance, the Xbox and PC release of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has had little difficulty conquering the top of the UK sales charts. Xbox sales accounted for 63 percent of the game’s sales this week, compared to 34 percent for the PC and 3 percent for the PlayStation 2. The Star Wars Galaxies expansion pack Rage of the Wookies is the only other new entry in the top forty, at number twenty-six, with the only other movement of note being Cold Winter’s jump of ten places, following a round of fairly heavy television advertising. However, none of the suite of new Game Boy Advance titles released last week have yet managed to chart in the top forty, with Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django, Mario Party Advance and Megaman Battle Network 5 all apparently failing to appeal to a British audience.
