UK trade association ELSPA has published its chart of the most downloaded mobile phone games for February 2006 in the United Kingdom. The chart compiles information supplied by 3, O2, Orange, T-Mobile, and Vodafone, and gives a continuing look at what UK mobile game consumers are actually purchasing.
Jamdat's and EA's classic puzzler
Tetris continues its dominance by remaining in the top spot for February, showing that some titles are classics for a reason.
Coming up just behind the puzzler include two newcomers to the chart. Ifone and Sega's
Sonic the Hedgehog raced past the competition to take the number two spot, while Jamdat's
LMA Manager 2006 claimed number three.
Finally, continuing down the charts are I-Play's
Torino 2006 in fourth, followed by Glu's
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, Gameloft's
Block Breaker Deluxe, and Ifone's
Monopoly. The rest of the chart is rounded out by newcomer
Family Fortunes by Player X, while EA's
The Sims 2 and Namco's
Pac-Man fell to the ninth and tenth positions, respectively.
