UK trade association ELSPA has published its chart of the most downloaded mobile phone games for April 2006 in the United Kingdom. The chart compiles information supplied by mobile phone providers 3, O2, Orange, T-Mobile, and Vodafone, and gives a continuing look at what UK mobile game consumers are actually purchasing. Glu Mobile and Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog raced to the top of the chart for the month, followed by Jamdat's (and now EA's) Tetris mobile title. Elsewhere in the chart, Electronic Arts also took the third spot with its mobile version of the popular game The Sims 2, and the eighth spot with EA Sports FIFA '06. THQ's Worms blasted its way into the fourth position, while Gameloft's Block Breaker Deluxe and Glu Mobile's Ice Age 2:Arctic Slide ranked as the fifth and sixth most downloaded mobile titles for the month. The chart was rounded out by Glu Mobile's mobile version of Monopoly in seventh, Player One's Ronnie O'Sullivan Snooker in ninth, and Eidos' Championship Manager 2006 in the tenth and final position.
