Ubi Soft Reports 49% Growth In Revenue

Ubi Soft released its fiscal Q3 results, reporting consolidated sales of EUR 114.4 million ($100.7 million) -- a 49% increase over the same period last year.
For the first nine months of the fiscal year, the company's growth exceeded 34%. When the acquisitions of 3D Planet (Italy) and Red Storm (USA) are factored out, the company's growth was 22%. The company attributed its strong sales to top performers Disney Dinosaur, Rayman 2, Disney Donald Duck - Quack Attack and Walt Disney: The Jungle Book Groove Party. Ubi Soft said that the three games it released for the PS2 accounted for a disappointing 7% of sales during the quarter.
