Eningen, Germany-based 3D game engine developer, Trinigy GmbH, has announced that the latest version of its Vision Game Engine, version 4.5, will shortly be shipping to customers around the world. Now scheduled for release on November 30th, 2004, version 4.5 of the Vision Game Engine is based largely on a re-written rendering core, improving the software's performance. Vision Game Engine 4.5 will also be host to advanced resource management, OpenGL high-level shading language support, and all-new exporter plug-ins for 3D Studio MAX 7 and Maya 6. Trinigy’s Vision Game Engine has been used in a number of largely German-developed PC titles so far. Some of these titles include: Desperados 2: Cooper’s Revenge (Spellbound Studios/Atari), Psychotoxic (NuclearVision GmbH), Gotcha! (Sixteen Tons Entertainment/Take-Two) and Emergency 3 (Sixteen Tons Entertainment/Take-Two).
