Traffic Games, the developer of the intentionally controversial PC assassination simulator
JFK Reloaded, have partnered with advertising firm Campbell Doyle Dye to create advergames for CDD's client base. CDD is a UK-based firm, best known for its TV spots for Mercedes and Guinness.
"With the sheer proliferation of interactive platforms in the marketplace and key audiences moving away from more traditional media," said Traffic marketing director Kirk Ewing, "we know that there will be more and more opportunities in the future to develop interactive products with brand owners involved right from the conception. We were looking for a best in breed ideas agency, and we found it in CDD."
As a result of the partnership, Traffic Games will set up a London adjunct to CCD's offices, in order to work more closely with the advertising firm. No specific CCD clients have been named as requesting Traffic's services as yet.
