Marlin Studios today launched Traffic, a CD-ROM library of 60 photorealistic, low-polygon vehicle models in 3DS, OBJ, and LWO formats.
Marlin claims that the models have a typical polygon count of 2,100, but look like models with ten times as many. The models have a hierarchical structure, with 7 or 8 components for each model, for such parts as interiors, wheels, glass, and so on. The construction of the wheels even allows the vehicles to be animated.
