Canadian publisher Throwback Entertainment has announced that it has appointed animation veterans Eric Radomski and Ken Duer to its leadership team as chief creative officer and media president, respectively.
Radomski has produced several Warner Bros. animation properties including Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get A Clue, Xiaolin Showdown, Batman: The Animated Series and Freakazoid, and has earned three Emmy awards. In his new role, Radomski "will drive the creative vision and future for Throwback Entertainment."
Duer has held production roles on properties including Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Batman, Batman Beyond, Superman, Justice League, Scooby Doo and Animatrix, and has earned three Emmy awards.
Most recently, Radomski and Duer co-founded Phuuz Entertainment, and created Iconicles, a children's animation series currently in pre-production in the UK.
In 2007, the company also appointed
twenty-five year industry veteran David Siller (Aero the Acro-Bat
) as its vice president of development, and added
former HAL President Yash Takakura as CTO.
Though the developer has yet to publicly announce any forthcoming titles, Throwback currently owns
a number of properties previously owned by Acclaim Entertainment, such as Vexx
and Extreme-G Racing
Throwback CEO Thomas Maduri expressed enthusiasm on both hires and commented, "Throwback has gone to great lengths to ensure that our management team is a blending of various entertainment industries. Our goal has been to create properties that not only appeal to the interactive entertainment industry but one that can immerse any consumer."
