Publisher THQ has signed a deal with Swedish development studio SimBin Development Team AB to bring the
GTR racing franchise to the Xbox 360.
GTR will feature all of the cars, drivers and tracks from two FIA GT Championships, and is being directed by Henrik Roos, former FIA GT Team Owner and professional race driver.
GTR for the Xbox 360 is expected to ship globally in spring 2007.

"The talent at SimBin combined with the unique background that Roos brings to the team means that we will be able to deliver a meticulously comprehensive and entertaining racing experience to gamers."

In addition, SimBin is continuing its dedication to the PC version of
GTR. Earlier this year the company announced that it will re-release
GTR for the PC this summer, and that it is developing a new PC racing franchise based on the
World Touring Car Championships, one of only three existing FIA world championships.
