The Fat Man Group and Texas Interactive Music Conference have announced registration for their 11th annual Project Bar-B-Q conference, a small summit whose official yearly topic is "Influencing Music Hardware and Software Over The Next 5 Years." Set to take place over October 19th to 22nd in the Canyon of the Eagles at Lake Buchanan, Texas, the summit provides the opportunity for "50 of the brightest minds in computer audio" to convene, enjoy "gourmet meals" and "challenge them to solve the toughest problems in the industry." Said Optimal Sound president and this BBQ's Thursday night speaker David Roach, "At other conferences, you get laboriously prepared PowerPoint for 55 minutes of every hour, with a chance to ask a question or two at the end.
