Representatives from SCEE and British company Digimask have signed an agreement to employ Digimask technology on the PlayStation 2 and allow the import of fully animatable 3D heads into compatible titles. The 3D models will be created using two images taken with the EyeToy peripheral, with the resultant file being saved to a memory card. Although no current games are compatible with the technology several are promised for the future, with the first, unnamed, title being due in July this year. Source: Digimask
