At its most recent Gamers Day event, as earlier noted by Lazard's Colin Sebastian, Sony has revealed and detailed a number of forthcoming PS3 and PSP titles, including new SOCOM titles, action RPG Folklore from Genji developer Game Republic, and ragdoll injure 'em up downloadable Pain. Sony cleared up several details on its exclusive multiplayer action title Warhawk, which it said would be seeing a simultaneous downloadable and retail release, the latter including a bluetooth headset for voice chat, this fall after a forthcoming public beta to launch on May 24th. Also coming to its PlayStation Store as well as retail is another multiplayer only title, SOCOM Confrontation, the latest in its popular war combat franchise from Vancouver's Slant Six Studios supporting up to 32 players. Slant Six was also revealed to be working on a new, more strategic PSP SOCOM title with SOCOM:U.S. Navy SEALs Tactical Strike. In addition to new looks at previously revealed forthcoming exclusives like Heavenly Sword, LittleBigPlanet, Naughty Dog's Uncharted, SingStar, and camera-based card battler Eye Of Judgment, Sony also revealed several previously unannounced titles. Folklore (pictured), a dark fantasy action RPG from Genji developers Game Republic and Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner creators Gaia, was announced for a fall release on the PlayStation 3. From developer Idol Minds came another exclusive PS3 downloadable title, Pain, where players sling Havok-enabled ragdoll characters through a city trying to rack up the most comically severe injuries possible, also featuring a number of multiplayer challenges. The title will also record and allow users to edit playbacks of successful launches to spread through the game's online community. Finally, Sony showed off two more casual PS3 downloadables, including High Velocity Bowling, a Sixaxis tilt-controlled bowling title clearly positioned to rival Nintendo's Wii Sports, and Go Puzzle, a collection of three casual puzzle games.
