Naughty Dog and its entire development team will become a wholly owned subsidiary of SCEA and will develop exclusively for Playstation 2. The company will keep the Naughty Dog name and will continue on under the direction of its founders, Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin. “Naughty Dog picked the Playstation as the winner in the last generation of consoles before the first unit hit shelves,” said Naughty Dog’s Andy Gavin, “Joining Sony Computer Entertainment America allows us to focus on what we are sure will be this generation's premier system.” Financial terms have not been disclosed.
