The company is announcing a restructuring plan that will result in reduced expenses as well as the elimination of 47 jobs. "We are taking these steps to provide for evolving market conditions," said new Softimage Managing Director Mike Stojda, "Today's restructuring is a measured move to ensure we remain flexible and competitive." The majority of the lost jobs, 37 of 47, are at Softimage's Montreal headquarters.
