Softimage has launced a series of academic licensing options for Softimage|XSI and Softimage|3D, designed to grow the population of trained Softimage artists. The new Softimage Student and Teacher program offers a permanent non-commercial license of Softimage|XSI Advanced software for $495, and a Softimage|3D license for as little as $99.50. Both products come with documentation and training materials.
As part of its new program, Softimage's web site now features an
expanded job and talent bank section to match trained animators and prospective employers.
