Smarte Solutions unveiled a suite of piracy prevention products, designed for piracy protection, identity management, product distribution, and digital asset management.
Smarte Solutions' new products include:
SmarteCD. SmarteCE gives developers and publishers the ability to embed secure media protection capabilities within their products. SSI's technology can uniquely encrypt and embed an identifying 'black hole' within the content of each individual product CD resulting in technology that can distinguish an original, properly licensed CD from a forgery. With this, publishers can render copied CD-ROMs unusable.
SmarteMANAGER. SmarteMANAGER is a license management system that supports concurrent, electronic and CD/electronic combination distribution environments. It lets publishers and developers offer products on a trial, limited use or full purchase basis.
SmarteKEY. SmarteKEY is a mass-deployable, two-factor online authentication system that balances control over who can access and use web-based products and services with the necessary levels of security, privacy and flexibility to meet business needs. It validates true user identity via serialized CD keys and PC-based soft-ids. It controls user access resulting in the elimination of identity fraud and password abuse.
SmarteMASTER. SmarteMASTER offers developers a piracy protection solution for in-house CD or network mastering. It allows vendors to ship protected gold masters or send protected images over a network only to authorized replicators, duplicators and beta customers, to reduce the possibility of human error or the distribution of faulty CDs to beta customers or testing teams.
SmartePAY. SmartePAY is an Internet-based e-payment platform offering a secure back-end for payment related to the enhanced marketing options available through SmarteMANAGER. It supports the purchase and or trial conversion of digital products.
SmarteMEDIA. SmarteMEDIA is optical disc media (like programmable CD-ROMs and mini-keys) which contains media protection and/or embedded serialization.
