Sega To Shed All ISP Business By March

Sega Corporation announced that by the end of March it will have shed all of its ISP services.
In the U.S. that business is Sega.com, which currently owns and operates SegaNet. In Europe, the company's ISP is Dreamarena, which hit the skids last year. In Japan, Isao Corporation was Sega's ISP, and Sega said it will sell all its shares in Isao back to Isao Corporation and to Sega's parent company, CSK Corporation. This announcement comes as no surprise, as Sega said last Fall that it would be restructuring and/or consolidating its unprofitable businesses such as its various ISP operations, and arcade operations in the United States.
