British publisher SCi has been placed in a list of Europe’s fastest growing companies, ranking number 207 out of 500. Endorsed by 3i, Microsoft, Boston Consulting Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers, the annual list judges European companies according to their employment creations and rapid growth.
SCi has reported its highest ever earnings this year, with a record turnover of £9.4 million ($17.26m) in the first half of the year. The company expects to hit profitability for the foreseeable future, and already has four major products on schedule for release this financial year, including new entries in the
Carmageddon and
Conflict franchises.
Philippe Leonard of Europe’s 500 has commented, “Given the economic environment of the last few years, SCi’s continued growth is a real achievement. Europe needs to stimulate employment through more fast growing companies like SCi Games; we believe that these champions of growth should be recognized as role models.”
