UK based publisher SCi, owners of Eidos Interactive, have announced that Warner Bros. Entertainment Group president Kevin Tsujihara and investor representative Aaron Brown have been appointed as non-executive directors.
Kevin Tsujihara is president of the newly formed Warner Bros. Entertainment Group, with the appointment coming as part of an
investment and distribution agreement with Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. established in December 2006.
The deal gave SCi access to rights to a number of Warner Bros. properties, while Warner Bros. became the company’s primary distribution partner in North America. Warner Bros. also made a
further share investment in SCi earlier in the year, even after takeover talks for the British company fell through.
Brown is a director of R20, a capital investment firm run by Iranian businessman Robert Tchenguiz. His appointment also comes from a prior investment agreement, which included a provision for the appointment of a director nominated by Thorson.
"We are very pleased to welcome Kevin Tsujihara and Aaron Brown to the Board of SCi and look forward to working with them and benefiting from their considerable experience and expertise,” said SCi chairman Tim Ryan.
