Representatives from the International Game Developers Association have announced that November 13-14th will see the return of the IGDA Leadership Forum, a San Francisco summit focused on advancing the state of the art in game production and management.
IGDA says the forum is intended for those who "serve in a leadership role in the game development industry and are seeking to become better leaders, create successful games, and learn from other working professionals in the game industry."
The group notes that its first forum saw over 300 attendees from over 15 countries, and that its return will expand session offerings to encompass personal leadership as well as project and managerial leadership.
Keynotes will be given by 38 Studios' Curt Schilling, as well as
Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Ratchet and Clank and
Jak and Daxter contributor Mark Cerny. Other sessions will include speakers like Mike Capps (Epic Games), David Edery (Xbox Live Arcade), Mat Hart (Ninja Theory), Richard Hilleman (EA), Clinton Keith, David Mann (Foundation 9), Trent Oster (BioWare Corp.), Michael Saladino (Pandemic Studios), and Tim Train (Big Huge Games).
More information on the forum's program and contributing speakers can be found at
the IGDA Leadership Forum website.
