Saling The World: Kinect, Just Dance 2 Head Pre-Holiday Charts

Gamasutra's latest custom compiled Amazon.com charts find Microsoft's Kinect Adventures bundle and Just Dance 2 leading software sales in the U.S. and the UK, while Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is off to an impressive start in Japan.
Gamasutra's weekly column, "Saling The World", covers the top five sellers for every available platform in the United States, Japan, and Europe, providing an important update of sales patterns worldwide. This week's charts, with data taken from December 16th, 2010, find Microsoft's Kinect Adventures bundle and Just Dance 2 leading software sales in the U.S. and the UK, while Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is off to an impressive start in Japan. Data for "Saling The World" comes courtesy of the public sales information on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, and Amazon.co.jp, with sales split out for each platform and territory, and pre-orders disregarded. This results in a true sense of what games are selling worldwide on the real-time updated service, as follows: Multiplatform North America: 1. Microsoft's Kinect Adventures peripheral bundle leads North American software sales after a recent restock at Amazon, as Donkey Kong Country Returns and Epic Mickey overtake Call of Duty: Black Ops for third and fourth place in the domestic multiplatform charts. Capcom's Monster Hunter Portable 3rd leads Japan's cross-platform sales rankings for the second week in a row, while Just Dance 2 stays on top in the UK. Nintendo Wii North America: 1.
