The DVD will include free trials of some of the most popular Sony Online Entertainment MMO games and services. Trials will include EverQuest II, EverQuest, Star Wars Galaxies, SOE Comic Book Creator, The Matrix Online, PlanetSide and more. In addition, the DVD will also include special offers, trailers and videos, including access to the Beta test of Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising, plus Medieval Weapon (the EverQuest II-powered Machinima series produced by g-NET for Spike TV) and a trailer for the upcoming Sony Pictures Animation release Open Season. - Nintendo has confirmed that emo-rock band Hawthorne Heights will headline the fourth edition of the company's annual Fusion Tour. The tour, which is produced by Live Nation, will visit some 40 cities nationwide between September 27 and November 11. In addition to live music, each venue will showcase the Nintendo DS Lite and provide a sneak peek of Nintendo’s upcoming Wii console. Hawthorne Heights will lead the bill, which also includes Relient K, Emery, Plain White T's and The Sleeping. "Nintendo always picks great rock bands, and we are happy to follow in that tradition this year," says Hawthorne Heights singer JT Woodruff. "But mainly, I am an old-school video game nerd. I still have my NES with over 500 games. I love everything Mario, and I accept no substitute. Bring on Wii!" - Physics technology firm Havok announced that it has appointed Dave Scanlin, previously senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Wild Planet Toys, to the position of vice president of Worldwide Sales. In addition, Havok also announced that David Coghlan, who has held a number of senior roles within Havok, including chief financial officer and vice president of Corporate Development, is now the company's vice president of Development.
