Today's wrap-up deals with refunds for disgruntled players of Star Wars Galaxies, a new Japanese Game Boy Micro bundle featuring Final Fantasy IV, and a source code release for Digital Eel's IGF finalist Strange Adventures In Infinite Space, as well as today's product news and Gamasutra job postings. - To appease Star Wars Galaxies players who bought the new expansion, Trials of Obi-Wan, prior to the announcement of the game's new focus and streamlined design, Sony Online Entertainment is offering a refund. Those who purchased the expansion prior to November 3 can e-mail their name, Station Name, e-mail address, regular address, and telephone number to [email protected], or send the information to Sony through the postal service at "SWG Trials of Obi-Wan Refunds, 8928 Terman Court, San Diego, CA 92121." The offer will expire December 1, 2005. - Though the Final Fantasy IV special GB micro faceplate was already announced as a bonus item for Japanese customers who preorder the Game Boy Advance game, Nintendo has expanded on the concept to offer a FFIV-branded GB micro package along with the game's release on December 15th. The bundle will include a copy of FFIV and a dark blue GB micro with new faceplate artwork from series illustrator Yoshitaka Amano. The bundle will sell for 17,200 yen ($144 USD) when it's released. - Digital Eel has released the source code to Strange Adventures in Infinite Space, its popular PC indie game, under the GNU public license. The code has been released to celebrate the release of the sequel, Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space. Both games allow for wildly different playthroughs with each game, due to random factors and pathways. More on the new game is available at Shrapnel Games' website. - Also updated today: Massive's release of its updated ad technology, as well as the latest Gamasutra job postings, including positions from Blue Fang Games, Disney Buena Vista Games, EA Chicago, Flying Lab Software, IGN Entertainment, NCSoft, Red Storm Entertainment, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Sucker Punch, and WMS Gaming.
