, has been tapped to complete the project under the supervision of 3D Realms, and the game will be published by Take Two Interactive. The game will use the Doom 3
graphics engine, and is planned for release in 2006.
- Disney Online is developing a MMORPG based on Pirates of the Caribbean, its theme park ride-turned-hit movie. In development at the VR Group, the same team that produced Toontown Online
, the Pirates of the Caribbean
game will allow players to join a community of pirates, seizing ships at sea and hunting for treasure on land. The MMORPG, as well as console and handheld games based on the upcoming film sequel Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, are scheduled to be released alongside the film in summer 2006.

Terrorists, earthquakes, zombies, and viral outbreaks will be among the hazards to overcome in ten levels based on Los Angeles neighborhoods. American McGee Presents: Bad Day L.A.
is currently set for release on Xbox and PC in Q1 2006.
