Today's round-up includes news on North American distribution for D3 Publisher, the latest licensing hook-up for the game crazy MTV, and news of some new Sega Ages titles in Japan, as well as the latest product news and job postings. - D3 Publisher, which recently began operations in the U.S., has announced its first U.S.-published game as well as its distribution partners. In the United States, D3P will go with Ditan Corporation, while in Canada, the company has signed with Ditan/Synergex. The distributors will carry D3's new titles such as Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi for Game Boy Advance, rather than any of the titles produced by D3 Publisher's Japanese parent company. "As we expand our operations at D3PA, strong, flexible distribution and logistics partners will become critical to our success," said D3P America VP of sales and operations Kim Motika. - MTV Games, the video game development division of MTV, has teamed up with Myelin Media to create an MTV-branded strategic alliance deal involving the poker title for PlayStation 2, Xbox, PlayStation Portable, and PC, Stacked with Daniel Negreanu. "This unparalleled alliance for Myelin Media’s Stacked with Daniel Negreanu represents a complete evolution in the world of poker and represents another exciting addition to the MTV Games family,” said Jeff Yapp of MTV Networks Music. - A new round of titles in the Sega Ages series in Japan, which republishes/'enhances' classic games for current systems, has been announced in Weekly Famitsu. Sold individually, the latest batch consists of Advance Taisenryaku, Dynamite Detective, Galaxy Forces, Last Bronx, Panzer Dragoon, Sega Memorial Selection, and a Treasure compilation featuring Gunstar Heroes, Alien Soldier, and Dynamite Headdy. The new games will be available for the PlayStation 2 at budget prices, though a North American release is yet to be confirmed. - Also updated today: product news including Nvidia's naming of a new vice president of content development, as well as the latest job postings from companies including 2K Games, Activision, Datascope Recruitment, Factor 5, Global VR, Planet Moon Studios, Relic Entertainment, and Stormfront Studios.
