LucasArts president Darrell Rodriguez has resigned after just over two years in the role -- one he himself assumed following his predecessor's resignation.
The company
confirmed the departure to consumer weblog Kotaku, which reported that several other execs exited alongside Rodriguez. The reasons for his departure are unknown.

stepped down, citing personal reasons, after four years' tenure.
Jerry Bowerman will take an interim leadership role while the company searches for Rodriguez's replacement. Bowerman sits on the Board of Directors for Star Wars house Lucasfilm, of which
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed developer LucasArts is a subsidiary.
Rodriguez oversaw the company during a time of ups and downs; while
Force Unleashed was an enormous success and the company forged a strong partnership with BioWare for
The Old Republic, for example, the company's efforts to nurture new properties have been mixed.
But at the beginning of this year, Rodriguez
told Gamasutra that the company was continuing to focus on internal development and expansion efforts.
