As a release slowdown continues to affect other parts of the world, Japan's lineup flourishes with a number of anticipated releases across all platforms.
Wii owners get an early look at
Wario Land Shake (to be released in the U.S. later this year as
Wario Land: Shake It!), along with the latest entry in Konami's long-running
Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu baseball sim series. The PlayStation 3 is set to get a remake of the PS2 survival horror title
Siren, while the Japanese Xbox 360 receives long-awaited localizations of
Bully and
Guitar Hero III.
Next week will see the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 release of
Soul Calibur IV in all regions. Consoles in Japan will additionally receive
Dokapon Kingdom for Wii and
Zero: Gesshoku no Kamen, while portables are slated to host
Dokidoki Majo Shinpan! 2 DUO,
Rhythm Tengoku Gold, and
Phantasy Star Portable.
