Representatives from business network Alliance numeriQC have announced details of the third Montreal International Game Summit (MIGS), due to take place on November 8th and 9th at the Palais des congres de Montreal.
The event is advertised as the foremost Canadian forum for creators, developers and producers of console games, PC games, mobile games and online games. Participants will be able to attend more than 40 classes, seminars, lectures and workshops during the two-day event.
The summit will include a number of well known industry speakers, including newly promoted Nintendo of America president Reggis Fils-Aime. Other confirmed speakers include Alexandre Nareyek, professor, National University of Singapore; Eric Albert, head of North American operations, Gameloft; Richard Rouse III, director of game design, Midway Games; and Reid Schneider, senior producer, Electronic Arts.
"This year we are expecting more than 800 professionals from North America, Europe and Asia. The event is an outstanding opportunity to exchange ideas and develop expertise in this fast-expanding industry," said Gilles Bertrand, executive director of Alliance numeriQC.
