Sony has announced that its regular Thursday update this week will see the addition of Q-Games' multiplayer slotcar game PixelJunk Racers, as well as the online playable High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition. First shown at this year's E3, PixelJunk Racers is the first in a series of diverse games from Q-Games, best known for Star Fox Command for the DS, as well as the studio's DigiDrive contribution to Nintendo's boutique Bit Generations GBA series. Sony says the game will feature 32 modes, 10 tracks and online rankings for $6.99. Also added is High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition at $9.99, featuring limit or no-limit poker in five different game types, with both single player or 6 player online multiplayer. Apart from the new games, the update will see demos for Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground, NHL 08, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and FIFA 08, as well as a number of new trailers, wallpapers, and a music track from the recently released Lair.
