SCEA has announced that its latest PlayStation Store update, due today, April 26th, will include an exclusive demo of Tecmo's forthcoming action game Ninja Gaiden Sigma, as well as a demo of Sega's Virtua Tennis 3. The first current-gen update to the original Xbox's Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden Black, Ninja Gaiden Sigma lets players assume the role of Ryu Hayabusa to "infiltrate your way into the Vigoor Empire destroying evil ninjas and demons as you attempt to overthrow the Empire, exact revenge on your enemies, and reclaim the Dark Dragon Blade." Also coming to the PlayStation Store will be the first demo for the PS3 version of Virtua Tennis 3, with players taking on or playing as a number of real tennis pros, including Federer, Sharapova, Roddick, Nadal, and Williams. A number of game-related videos will also hit the store, including previews of forthcoming games like Gauntlet II, The Wheelman, Midway's Stranglehold, and The Godfather. No announcement has yet been made on the North American arrival of PS3 playable downloadable PS1 titles, as Sony recently announced for Japan's latest PlayStation Network update.
