Xoreax Software has announced the release of IncrediBuild v2.50, a tool that cuts down compilation and build time by up to 90% by distributing C/C++ compilation tasks across machines in the local network. The firm's testimonials page includes positive feedback from companies in the video game space such as Ubisoft Montreal, Stainless Steel Studios, and Codemasters, noting that "over 500 companies and institutions worldwide are using IncrediBuild as their everyday build tool." According to the company, installation is simple and no configuration or changes in code are required. v2.50 features numerous performance enhancements over previous versions as well as complete support for Visual Studio 2005 and the Xbox 360 platform.
