Mobile content deployment company Tira Wireless announced the release of the latest version of the company's Tira Jump. Version 3 of Tira's flagship product extends support for mobile content beyond applications to other media types, such as ringtones and wallpapers. The Jump Media Desktop supports the rapid adaptation of these content types for multiple handsets by leveraging off of Tira's device and operator knowledge base. In addition, mobile content providers are also now able to manage the end-to-end deployment of Java and BREW games and applications, ringtones and wallpapers using a single system that does not require silo applications. In addition to providing intelligence on each operator's submission and packaging requirements, Tira's latest offering also enables content delivery to mobile operators through direct integration with service or content delivery platforms. Tira Jump will initially support direct content submission to mobile operators that use content delivery solutions provided by companies such as Mobilitec and Motricity. With the new version of Tira Jump, mobile content providers can from a single platform manage the complete deployment lifecycle for multiple types of Java and BREW content, as well as ringtones and wallpapers. It also provides content providers with tighter control over the end-to-end deployment process, enabling them to achieve greater efficiencies by speeding time to market and reducing the total cost of delivering quality content to global markets. "Effectively managing the deployment of numerous mobile content types is an increasingly complex process, especially when disparate silos of technology are used to support individual steps in the deployment lifecycle," said Doug Barre, CEO of Tira Wireless. "With the latest release of Tira Jump, content providers now have the power to manage the entire deployment process with a single solution. With greater visibility and control over each step in the deployment process, mobile content providers, regardless of size or reach, can effectively manage brands and assets to maximize revenues and support global marketing initiatives."
