Realviz, an image processing software developer, has announced the release of three new versions of Stitcher, its multi-award-winning panorama software. The new versions target photographers of different skill levels, and include Stitcher Express 2 for digital photography hobbyists, Stitcher Pro 5.5 for professional photographers & graphic artists, and Stitcher Unlimited 5.5 for professional panorama creators. Realviz Stitcher is a application for the creation of wide-angle panoramas for the web, film, print, and 3D. These new versions of the software includes a number of new features, including: embedded Smart Blend technology for rendering, options for publishing panoramas on the internet, and a KML-based exporting tool to georeference panoramas using Google Earth browser. In addition, Stitcher Unlimited 5.5 alone includes fish-eye stitching, and the Java-based Pure Player from ImmerVision, the Shockwave 3D-based SPi-V3d Viewer from fieldOfView. "All 3 versions combine an unbeatable range of tools with our powerful automatic stitching engine,"said Realviz CEO Dominique Pouliquen. "I think our users will agree, that we have taken their feed-back onboard once again, both in terms of requested features and pricing. This is a very broad product range, which offers the best solution on the market to panorama photographers of all levels, and all budgets." The new Stitcher product range is available in French and English for Mac and Windows. Stitcher Express 2, Stitcher Pro 5.5, and Stitcher Unlimited 5.5 each retail for $119, $349, and $580 respectively.
