Facial animation software technology firm Lifemode Interactive have announced the availability of a new lipsync animation software package,
Lifestudio: Lipsynch.
This new software package offers an automatic lipsynching tool that can be used within the
Maya package for automatically animating speaking characters.
Lifestudio: Lipsynch offers impressive animation results that can be achieved in minutes, saving an artist a tremendous amount of time.
The software works by preparing lipsynch data according to a record of speech. This data can be used as an input to a deformer of user’s choice that affects the character face mesh: it may be blendshapes, driven keys, etc. Scripts may be effectively used thanks to a simple data structure.
