AI middleware firm Kynogon announced today that Kynapse will be a central component of the newly restructured production chain for Artificial Mind and Movement's (A2M) next generation of games, including new projects for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A2M is a Montreal-based game development studio specialized in character based 3D interactive games. A2M is most recognized for licensed game titles such as Scooby Doo, Monsters Inc. and Kim Possible. "Kynapse AI will be instrumental in helping us develop a new and exciting game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms," commented Martin Walker, CTO at A2M. "Kynogon offered us an easily implemented out-of-the-box A.I. solution that will facilitate the development of our own tool chain." Pierre Pontevia, C.E.O. of Kynogon added: "We are delighted to be a partner in A2M's development strategy. A2M boasts both the technical know-how and drive to fully develop an internal production chain for next generation games. We are proud to be part of A2M effort to produce an original game title."
