Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced updates to the PS3's PlayStation Store, including the debut of David Jaffe's (
God of War) original downloadable title
Calling All Cars, and an online multiplayer version of Atari's classic arcade title
Rampart.
Sony describes Incognito's vehicular action title
Calling All Cars, created by
Twisted Metal and
God of War designer David Jaffe as a "high-octane, fast-action game of cops ‘n' robbers.," with players assuming the role of a bounty hunter tracking down criminals in cartooney "demolition derby style."
The game will include more than 10 vehicles, four different levels, 'crazy' weapon pickups, and both a single player and multiplayer campaigns. Sony has priced the exclusive downloadable title at $9.99
Also added today is a port of Atari's classic
Rampart, a multiplayer action strategy title in which players defeat enemy ships while preventing their opponent from damaging their own castle walls.
The update includes HD graphics up to 1080p, online leaderboards for its six different levels, and online multiplayer for up to four people.
Also to be added to the PlayStation Store are a number of videos, including a preview of online-exclusive multiplayer air combat title
Warhawk, a look at Criterion's latest
Burnout Paradise, and a preview of upcoming arcade conversion
Rampage.
