PBS Television has announced a documentary about the video game industry, showing this week on many PBS affiliates in the United States, and created as a co-production of KCTS Television, Seattle, and Palmer/Fenster, Inc. The two hour documentary, named The Video Game Revolution, includes interviews with noted game creators including Ralph Baer, Shigeru Miyamoto, Jason Rubin, Will Wright, Steven L. Kent, and Peter Molyneux, and the official website for the documentary includes a listing of local PBS airing times. The site further explains that the documentary "examines the evolution and history of the video game industry, from the 1950s through today, the impact of video games on society and culture, and the future of electronic gaming."
