Havok has announced that Pandemic Studios has licensed its Behavior 5 SDK and composition tool for use in developing character animation in undisclosed forthcoming titles, as part of the entire Havok Spectrum bundle.
The Behavior toolset allows developers to create next-generation character behaviors on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii platforms, combining physics with procedural animation and traditional animation assets.
Havok Behavior is part of Havok 5, the company's modular suite of run-time technology and artists’ tools aimed at accelerating the development of cross platform games and special effects for film.
According to Havok, Pandemic Studios has licensed Havok Behavior 5 as part of the Havok Spectrum bundled product, which provides integration between Havok Physics, Havok Animation and Havok Behavior.
