Evergreen Events has announced the return of the
Online Game Development Conference, (which is unrelated to the GDC event series produced by Gamasutra.com owner the CMP Game Group) for 2008, to be held once again in Seattle, Washington from May 13th-15th.
The Online Game Development Conference, now in its second year, is an industry event that focuses on online game development on consoles, PCs and mobile devices, and how to navigate the challenges and explore the opportunities in these fields.
James Hursthouse, CEO of OGSi, has been appointed chairman of the board. Session/panel speaker submissions for OGDC 2008 will begin November 2007 and early registration is scheduled to begin January 2008, and Evergreen says it will announce further details soon.
"Last year we were rewarded by the incredibly positive feedback from the hundreds of attendees who attended our inaugural OGDC 2007," proclaimed Cynthia Freese, CEO of Evergreen Events. "We set a high standard, but we intend to outdo ourselves for OGDC 2008 by rolling out an even more high-impact, compelling experience for attendees in the online game development industry."
