The winners of the sixth annual MCV Industry Excellence Awards have been announced in a ceremony held in London last night, with Nintendo dominating the awards for the second year and picking up the same four awards won in the previous year.
Nintendo was awarded best games publisher, PR team and marketing team. For the third time, the company also picked up the special Grand Prix award for the company who has most contributed to the UK games market in the last twelve months.
Other winners included Microsoft's marketing campaign for Halo 3
, while the "Sales Triumph" award went to 505 Games' Cooking Mama
and best new games brand went to Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed

The awards were given in three areas of Retail, People & Industry and Marketing - with nominees appraised between the period of March 3rd 2007 to March 2nd 2008. The awards are voted for by a panel of over one hundred judges from across the retail, publishing and development industries.
