The winners of the fifth annual MCV Industry Excellence Awards have been announced in a ceremony held in London last night, with Nintendo lifting three awards and a joint accolade to dominate the UK industry event.

The awards were given in three key areas of Retail, People & Industry and Marketing with nominees appraised between the period of March 3rd 2006 to March 2nd 2007. The awards are voted for by a panel of ninety judges, from across the retail, publishing and development industries.
The annual special Grand Prix Award, voted on by MCV staff alone, was given to Nintendo, as the company was judged to have contributed the most to the video games business in the UK during the previous twelve months.
