According to a press release from Nintendo of Europe the GameCube’s market share in Europe has risen from just 5% to 25%, putting it into a clear second place.
However, this new market share has only come about since the price cut a few weeks ago and the Xbox is still estimated to be around half a million unit sales ahead of the GameCube in the territory.
