A joint press release today has revealed that Motorola will be supplying wireless technology chips to Nintendo for use in a new attachment for the Game Boy Advance. The unnamed device will be included free of charge (in Japan at least) with either of the two remakes of the original Pokémon games – known as Red and Blue in the West. After a failed collaboration with Nokia, which lead to the Finnish company’s own N-Gage console, many will now be speculating whether Motorola and Nintendo will be working together on future projects, possibly including the successor to the Game Boy Advance – which is expected to be ready for next year.
