Newtek has announced the release of a maintenance update for Light Wave 3D version 7. The new update includes speed increases and optimizations for both fhe Intel SSE2 instruction set and the Apple Altivec instruction set.
Other new performance features include Mac OS X supported true type fonts, Motion Mixer speed optimizations, and the ability to double-click to add channel name to current expression in Graph editor.
Light Wave owners can upgrade from any version to the new upgrade for $495.
