Bionatics released EASYnat for 3D Max, a plug-in which generates plant models and simulates their growth. Using the product, you can generate photo-realistic and botanically coherent plants, place vegetation into scenes, and manipulate them as simple objects. EASYnat for 3D Max lets you generate an infinite number of unique individual flowers, bushes or trees at any age or season. After setting the desired level of detail, the plug-in generates the object, and you can animate it by adding splines.
Bionatics has launched EASYnat for 3D Max with a 10 plant library, with an additional 500 plants available for download from the company's web site.
EASYnat for 3D Max is priced at $890, or $995 with 10 plants free of choice.
