Marlin Studios announced the release of "Premium 3D Models - City Buildings", a library of 3D models and textures for creating urban landscapes. The library consists of 182 building models for use in an urban 3D environment, and are priced at just over $1.00 each. The 3D models are presented in 3DS, LWO(6) and OBJ file formats. All 3D models are fully licensable and royalty free. A special edition of Right Hemisphere's 3D Exploration tool is included with each library for viewing, transforming and manipulating the 3D models. The models feature Boolean-subtract windows and doors for separate surfacing, additional surfacing layers for variations in color or texture, and rooftop elements so the models can be viewed from an overhead perspective. Depending on the model format and complexity of the model, the models range from 17,000 to 170,000 polygons and in size from 250KB to 11,000 KB. The company says that most models average 70,000 polygons with file size of 1500KB. The "Premium 3D Models - City Buildings" library sells for $199.
