Officials from Namco have announced the company’s third quarter results for the period ended December 31, which includes profits of ¥6.6 billion ($62.6m) on sales of ¥134.6 billion ($1.3bn).
The company performed best in its homeland of Japan with titles such as
Taiko no Tatsujin and
Baten Kaitos. The company also described critically derided title
R: Racing Evolution as one of its best performing titles despite heavy discounting in North America and Japan (the game has not yet been released in Europe).
The company citied sales in the US over Christmas as the only disappointment with titles such as
Spawn: Armageddon and
I-Ninja failing to perform as expected.
